Dry Land Sailors

Dry Land Sailors is a novel about five high school graduates who call up the dead in August, 1969. Then they go off to college to become adults. Suzanne, my main character, goes to Berkeley--just after the people's park riot in 1969; Richard goes to Windemeade College in Windemeade, Vermont. (A tip from the author: don't try to find it. I made it up.); Chris goes to a little Bible college in southern Virginia; Rob goes to another unnamed college in central New Jersey. Pat goes to Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. What they call up manages to haunt them to some extent. But what haunts Suzanne are the choices she makes as a woman in love and a "sailor" searching for new worlds. Sorry. No picture on this one yet.
